HIRLAM - ARPAGE - ALADIN - AROME workshop on surface assimilation

The purpose of the workshop was twofold. On one hand, the presently used surface assimilation systems was described both on HIRLAM and ARPEGE/ALADIN sides, on the other hand, possible future solutions was presented and discussed. An important momentum of the meeting was the planning session, where a roadmap for tackling the forthcoming problems was prepared.
